The Board of Trustees
How The Audley Foundation is managed
The Audley Foundation is currently made up of four Trustees, an Administrator and supporting staff from The Audley Group.
All need to act independently of Audley and are volunteers. The Foundation is currently looking to recruit more external Trustees to join the Foundation’s Board.

After graduating from Nottingham University, Anne spent a life-time in education at many levels. She taught in secondary schools and at evening classes, gave private tutoring and lectured at the University of Birmingham.
For many years Anne represented the University of Birmingham as Schools Liaison Officer. This role required her to visit schools nationwide, to talk to students, staff and parents about the wide range of educational opportunities available at all levels after leaving school.
Since retirement, Anne has regularly visited a local primary school to help pupils with individual learning issues.
Anne served on the committee for British Standards for Children’s playground equipment. She acted as Leader for the Friends of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and is currently Chairman for Chalfont Fine Arts Society.
Fortunate to have enjoyed a long and happy marriage, Anne is now widowed but continues to play a significant part in the lives of her 3 children and 7 grand-children as well as offering time as a Victim Support volunteer.
Anne moved into Audley Chalfont Dene village over 5 years ago and settled happily, right-sizing quickly into her new surroundings. She has organised monthly quizzes in the village and made a positive contribution to village life by acting as Secretary to the Owners’ Forum. She has represented Audley owners many times by giving talks and presentations at functions arranged for prospective purchasers, offering a glimpse into life at an Audley village and giving her experience of choosing to move there.
Anne endorses and thoroughly supports the Audley brand ethos; she continues to enjoy to the full the opportunities of Audley village life and looks forward to helping in the promotion of The Audley Foundation.
