Gary Burton, Chief Financial Officer at Audley Group, recently took on The Weekend Warrior challenge, to complete as many triathlons as possible over the weekend of 3rd – 4th June 2023. The event that took place over 2 days at Blenheim Palace, with Gary swimming, riding, and running to raise funds for The Audley Foundation.
Despite a couple of challenges along the way, Gary completed an incredible six triathlons, (four sprints and two super-sprints) with four on the Saturday and two on the Sunday.
Gary told us: “The undulating course, wind and tight cut off times added another level of challenge. As did my lack of training and suffering a puncture before the very first triathlon – requiring me to pump the tyre frantically before every bike leg on Saturday! Despite this, it was an exceptional event at a beautiful venue. Thank you to everyone who has donated, your support and generosity was very much appreciated.”
